Exciting opportunities with a company that truly values you

Celebrating 40 years since Our incorporation on 18 May 1984

Develop your career working on industry-leading projects that positively impact the community.

At Carmac, all of the team undergo thorough training and certification in line with the requirements of their role. This includes in-house and formal external training to ensure continued professional development.

As a family-run business, we have an ethos of nurturing talent and encouraging career progression. There are a large range of opportunities available, both office-based and on-site. These include: site-based trades such as groundworkers, bricklayers, plant operators and engineers; office-based administrative roles, and other construction professions including Quantity Surveying and Health, Safety & Quality Management.

Our culture of succession planning from within has led to internal promotions for many into supervisory and management roles. There are numerous entry points into a career at Carmac, and we are proud to offer traineeships and apprenticeships, where recent roles have included accounts, construction plant mechanics, bricklaying, and a degree-level apprenticeship in Construction Management.

Fully Established

Learn from our years of expertise and enjoy job security at Carmac – a trusted leader with over 40 years of experience in groundworks and civil engineering.

Carmac took me on as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to start my career in the construction industry. Whilst I never thought of having a career in surveying, my managers and peers have given me the guidance and support to do this.

From day one it was clear that Carmac isn’t just a workplace, but a family run business with great values where everybody is made to feel like part of the family no matter what their role is.”
